Indications and effects
Herbapol gastric dropshave a relaxing effect on the smooth muscles of the digestive tract. They facilitate the symptomatic treatment of indigestion and other digestive system ailments.

The composition of gastric drops includes such substances and plant extracts as:

  • Valerian (valerian root) - reduces the tension of smooth muscles of blood vessels. Valerian has a carminative and antispasmodic effect, and also increases the production of gastric juices. Therefore, it helps to eliminate the symptoms of digestive and urinary system diseases. Taking it also has a slight antidepressant, anticonvulsant and antispasmodic effect.
  • Peppermint - peppermint leaves contain tannins, flavonoids, organic acids, phytosterols, vitamins, and minerals (especially iron, copper, magnesium, sodium, zinc, manganese). Such a rich composition makes the plant stimulate the secretion of gastric juice and act as a choleretic. So it facilitates digestion and reduces the symptoms of indigestion. Peppermint also has a carminative effect, thanks to which it normalizes the work of the gastrointestinal tract, and also influences intestinal peristalsis. It has a relaxing effect on smooth muscles of the digestive tract and increases appetite.
  • St. John's wort - the beneficial effects of St. John's wort are due to the substances found in it, such as: flavonoids, naphthodiantrons, fluoroglucin derivatives, phenolic acids, tannins, xanthones and -aminobutyric acid (GABA). Thanks to this, St. John's wort has a relaxing effect on the smooth muscles of the digestive tract, bile ducts and blood vessels. Therefore, they can be used in inflammation of the liver and various diseases of the digestive system.
  • Bitter tincture, i.e. ethanol-water herbal extract containing numerous bitter compounds, stimulates the secretion of saliva and mucus, hydrochloric acid and pepsin in the stomach, while stimulating the appetite.
  • Beaver leaf - used in the case of acidity, gastroenteritis, recurrent constipation and flatulence. The beaver leaf can be used as an aid against rickets, rheumatism, intestinal parasites, irregular menstruation. Beaver leaves contain tannins, glycosides, iodine, iron and manganese.
